Resident Returns to Thank EMS Alliance Crew
On July 6th, 2009 at approx. 8:30 pm township resident William Jenkins suffered a sudden cardiac arrest out front of his home while returning from his daily jog. Neighbors and Bill's wife started CPR and called 911. Within minutes GTEMS crews along with Chews Landing Fire Department and Virtua paramedics were on scene performing CPR. Bill regained pulses and was transported to the hospital. Several weeks later, Bill, his wife and 2 daughters met with the crews who saved his life to share his story and show his gratitude. Bill has made an amazing recovery and we are thankful that our work has made it possible for him to have many more years with his family.
