Vehicle Extrication Drill

Three Gloucester Township EMS Alliance ambulances, along with GT EMS Alliance members, participated in a hands-on extrication drill with other Gloucester Township agencies. This type of training with other agencies enables everyone to work together smoothly and efficiently.

PATCO Emergency Response Drill

On Sunday, June 22, 2008, PATCO staged an emergency response drill at their City Hall subway station in Camden, NJ. The drill simulated a train emergency in the subway which required multiple emergency response agencies to participate. Involved in the drill were PATCO employees, Delaware River Port Authority, Camden City Fire Department, UMDNJ EMS, numerous EMS agencies from all over Camden County, as well as approximately 80 volunteers to act as passengers aboard the train. Gloucester Township EMS participated in this drill. It was a great opportunity for everyone involved to practice both EMS skills and responding to large scale incidents.
